Coach Brendan brings a wealth of playing and coaching experience to Colorado Rampage. As a player, he helped lead Ralston Valley High School to back-to-back CHSAA 5A Varsity State Championships in 2013 and 2014. He continued his playing career at the Colorado School of Mines, competing for their ACHA Division 3 team. During his junior and senior seasons, Brendan served as both team president and captain, guiding Mines to its first-ever appearance at the ACHA D3 Regional Tournament in 2018.
Brendan spent two seasons coaching 14U AA with the Colorado Rampage, where his teams earned tournament titles each year and helped deliver one of the most successful 14U AA seasons in recent program history. He then joined Monument Hockey Club, where he most recently served as Head Coach and General Manager during the 2025–26 season. Under his leadership, MHC achieved its most successful showing at the NAPHL to date, bringing home multiple banners at both the 16U and 18U levels.
As a coach, Brendan is passionate about long-term player development and building a strong foundation for future success. His coaching philosophy is centered around three key principles:
-
Making hockey fun and enjoyable for players
-
Fostering personal growth alongside athletic development
-
Building and refining players’ on-ice hockey skills
Brendan believes that a positive team culture is essential to helping players reach their full potential, both on and off the ice. He holds a USA Hockey Level 4 coaching certification, demonstrating his dedication to continual growth and providing his players with a high-level hockey experience.
Brendan currently serves as General Manager of Monument Hockey Club and Head Coach of the Colorado Rampage 13O AAA program
